ISLAMAABSD: October 19, 2022: Islamabad police on Wednesday arrested Samina Shah, mother of Shahnawaz, main accused and ex-wife of Ayaz Amir, a senior journalist, in Sara inam Murder case after a district and session judge of Islamabad cancelled her bail earlier granted in the case.
District and Session judge , Sohail Shaikh, canceled bail of Samina Shah, ex-spouse of Ayaz Amir when counsel for the plaintiff pleaded before the court that the bail of Samina Shah be withdrawn to investigate and probe her role in murder of Sara Inam.
Shahnawaz, a visible addict, had killed his spouse , Sara Anam , at his residence in a farmhouse in Chak Shahzad in Islamabad on September 23, 2022.
Shahnawaz, the culprit was arrested on the spot with blood stained clothes. Since then he is in the police custody facing investigation in the murder case.
The court had earlier granted Samina Shah bail on n the ground that she and her spouse , Ayaz Amir, called the police to inform them about the incident . They also ensured that their son Shahnawaz does not flee after killing his wife.
On Wednesday hearing the counsel for plaintiff had argued that Samina Shah’s bail be rejected to allow the police to investigate her role before the murder of Sara Inam.
