Babar XI fades out in crucial clash against India

Ahmedabad (India ) : Oct 14 : Pakistanis who were expecting a good fight of team Pakistan against its arch rival India at Narinder Modi Stadium here were shocked over unprecedented collective failure of Babar XI in an extraordinary important clash with India for the Cricket World Cup (CWC) 2023. India won the toss and put Pakistan into bat.

After initial loss of two wickets in the first 10 overs , Pakistan ‘s two most senior players Captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan managed to push Pakistan’s score to 144 in 26 overs. At this stage , Pakistan was in total control over the match. There was a clear indication after 26 overs that Pakistan may manage to make a decent total of around 300 runs against India in this match.. Then Indian bowlers struck to put Pakistan into a devastating phase.

Pakistan entire team got out in 42.3 over with only 191 runs.
India achieved Pakistan’s 192 runs in a loss of just 3 wickets in 30.3 overs. Jasprit Bumrah was declared the player of the match on excellent bowling performances, he took 2 wickets for 19 runs in 7 overs.

This is the 8th consecutive victory in the history of the World Cup by the Indian team. Shabman Gul and Rohit Sharma started the innings in pursuit of the target of 192 runs. Shaheen Shah Afrdi bowled out Indian opener Shaman Gill .

India’s second -out batter was Virat Kohli, who scored 16 runs for a total score of 79.
