THATHA: Pakistan People Party (PPP) senior leader and senator , Sussi Paleejo, on Sunday issued a statement to remember Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on the day of his 42 anniversary.
In her statement, Sussi Palejo said Bhutto did not run away to save his skin rather he stood firm with his people and preferred giving away his life over fleeing from Pakistan.
PPP leader probably reminded to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) by referring fleeing rather than staying with the people in testing time.
PML N supremo, Nawaz Sharif, had eloped from Pakistan to United Kingdom in 2017 when he feared some hard times ahead.
Sussi by referring the word fleeing from Pakistan wanted PMLN to take into account the action of its leader while hurlung accusitions on PPP leadership.
PPP and PMLN are on toes to verbally attack each other’s leaderahip. Sussi Paleejo did not spare PMLN even on April 4 the day when Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged in a dubious murder case during Pakistan’s military dictator . Ziaul Haq tenure on April 4, 1979.
PPP senator counted sacrifuces and services that great Bhutto renderred for Pakistan like 1973 constitution, bringing pilitics from drawingrooms of rich and landlords to the public places and making Pakistan a nuclear state. Sussi asserted Bhutto was a name of sacrifices and valour and it will stay with Pakistan for ever. She also saw Balawal Bhutto Zardari on the footsteps of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
