Dar finally beings much-needed relief to inflation hit people

ISLAMABAD : Dec 15,2022: With an objective to provide much-needed relief to the masses , the government on Thursday announced reduction up to Rs 10 a liter in the rates of petroleum products .

Finance minister , Ishaq Dar, announced reduction in the rates of petroleum products at a press conference here.

According to the announcement made by Finance minister , Ishaq Dar, petrol rates have been reduced by Rs 10 per litre. New price of petrol is Rs 214.80 per liter.

High Speed Diesel (HSD) price reduced by Rs 7 a liter and its new rates are Rs 227.80 a liter.

New rates of light diesel are Rs169 a liter.

The new rates of petroleum products are applicable for a fortnight (Dec 16 to 31).

Reduction in the rates of petroleum products will bring reasonable relief to the public . The fluctuation in the rates of petroleum products have spiral affect in either case. The reduction in the rates of petroleum products will be welcomed by the public and it will help Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and other coalition partners of Shahbaz government get back confidence of the masses.

The credit of providing relief to the public by cutting down the rates of petroleum products goes to Finance minister, Ishaq Dar. Ishaq Dar goes with the public pulse and he knows how to win the support of the masses . PMLN and other parties which are part of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had suffered massively due to anti public decisions taken by Miftah Ismael as Finance minister. He kept on adding burden on the masses by revising upward rates of petroleum products from April 2022 to October when he was finally summoned by PMLN supremo , Nawaz Sharif , in London to seek his resignation as Finance minister.

Since his shunting from Finance ministry , Miftah Ismael is running a propaganda campaign against Ishaq Dar . In his vengeance , Miftah Ismael has forgotten the national interest .
