Bilawal Bhutto demands restoration of mobile service

CEC says step taken to protect voters' life

Islamabad : Feb 8 ,2024: Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto , has demanded to immediate restore mobile service in entire Pakistan. He said the voters are facing serious problems and the concerned authorities must restore mobile service across Pakistan.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) senior leader and candidate for NA assembly from Lahore , Saad Rafique , also showed dismay over suspension of mobile service on the polling day. The voters also are complaining to find their names in the voting lists due to non availability of mobile service and demanded immediate restoration of mobile service in Pakistan. The Interior ministry had suspended mobile service today across Pakistan saying the step is taken to ensure safety to the people during voting .

Chief Election Commissioner , Sultan Sikander Raja talked to media during his visit to a polling station in Islamabad spoke on the issue of suspension of mobile service. He said protection to the voters is more important than anything and he will not order to restore mobile services as it can generate threat of terror in Pakistan.
