Islamabad — August 20, 2026 : The Cabinet Committee on State-Owned Enterprises (CCoSOEs) met today (Thursday) at the Finance Division under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, The Finance ministry Media Wing said in a statement.
The statement added the committee approved a summary submitted by the Petroleum Division regarding the nomination of an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) against a vacant position, in accordance with the State-Owned Enterprise Policy, 2023.
It further said “The Committee also considered a summary submitted by the Petroleum Division regarding the constitution of the Board of Directors of Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL). The Committee approved the proposed nominations against three positions of Independent Directors.”
