Cabinet expresses concern over participation of armed PTI workers in long march

ISLAMABAD : The federal cabinet has approved Hajj policy 2022 here in its meeting chaired by prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif.
The cabinet decided to fix cost of upcoming haj at Rs 648807. The government will subsidise upcoming haj by contributing Rs 150000 for each intending Haji.
The federal cabinet was also brief by Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah, on the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) long march held on May 25 last. The Interior minister told the cabinet that the PTI workers were armed in the long march. He also informed to the cabinet meeting that chief minister Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK) and chief minister Gulgit Baltistan participated in the PTI march and also provided resources of their government to fund the long march. The cabinet formed a 4 member committee to maintain the law and order situation in the country.
