COAS visits CMH Rawalpindi ,meets SSG commandos who injured in Bannu operation

RAWALPINDI: Dec 21 , 2022: General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited CMH Rawalpindi on Wednesday. COAS met injured officers and soldiers who got injured during CTD complex Bannu Operations.

An official handout of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued here said COAS remained with them for some time and inquired about their well being. COAS appreciated their high spirit and morale and lauded their professionalism during operation against terrorists.

The Special servis group.(SSG) of the army had conducted a clean up operation against the terrorists who had taken over CTD centre in Bannu and took its employees hostage . The SSG team had killed all the terrorists and cleared the compound of CTD in two and half hours .

The world acknowledged flawless performance and valour of Pakistan’s SSG and termed its successful operation to weed out terrorists who tried to challenge Pakistan’s security.

ISPR had issued a statement after completion of clean up operation in Bannu and declared that the terrorists will not get any mercy from Pakistan. The ISPR also announced that Pakistan armed forces were capable enough to eliminate terrorists from Pakistan’s soil.
