Connected Pakistan” seminar held in Riyadh to strengthen saudi-Pakistan ties

Riyadh : A significant seminar titled “Connected Pakistan” was organized by Friends of Riyadh, bringing together members of the Pakistani community, business leaders, embassy officials, and media representatives in Saudi Arabia. The event aimed to foster stronger trade, social, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia while addressing key issues faced by expatriates.

The seminar was graced by Dr. Shagufta Zareen, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Trade, as the chief guest. Other notable speakers included Maulana Abdul Malik Mujahid, Syed Saqib Zubair, and prominent community leaders who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in uniting Pakistanis abroad and promoting a positive image of Pakistan.

The event highlighted opportunities for Pakistanis in IT, construction, trade, and employment sectors, while also discussing local laws and business prospects in Saudi Arabia. Speakers stressed the need for greater collaboration between the two nations to enhance economic and social cooperation.

Friends of Riyadh members, including Rana Azeem Younis, Waqas Ahmed, Haseeb Gondal, Hamza Abbas, Imran Awan, and Kamran Ashraf, spoke about community challenges and potential solutions. They underscored the role of such platforms in bridging gaps and providing a unified voice for Pakistanis in the Kingdom.

Other distinguished attendees, such as Qazi Ishaq Memon, Rana Umar, Kamran Hassani, Salman Rashid, Adnan Butt, Munir Ahmed Shah, Ali Raza, Pervez Khan Baloch, Khawar Afnan, and Mohsin Jalali, also shared insights on strengthening bilateral relations.
