Lahore : A local court of distract magistrate here on Wednesday extended physical remand of the four accused by 5 days involved in alleged abduction , torture and rape of two foreigner women.
The accused were produced before the court by the local police on expiry of physical remand of 4 days granted in the case on the last hearing.
The court ordered to the police to present all the accused after completion of the extended physical remand.
The accused including Ahmad Raza Dar , grandson of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign minister, Ishaq Dar , were presented by the police before the court.
The prosecution pleaded for extension of physical remand of the accused for conducting DNA tests and recovery of the vehicle used for the crime.
Advocate Salman Shahid opposed the prosector and pleaded before the court not to grant more physical remand of his clients. He had appeared on behalf of two of the accused.

As per the first Information Report (FIR) , Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign minister , Ishaq Dar’s grandson, Ahmad Raza Dar , invited two European business women , one Dutch and ok there Spanish to Pakistan on July 29 this year and later abducted them with a gang of four others . The accused kept two foreign women in captivity in Lahore and then allegedly tortured them and gang rapped for pressurising them to pay $ 1.5 million in ransome for the release . Ahmad Raza Dar , the main accused in the case , also contacted father of one of the abductees that his daughter will only be released after getting ransome amount of $ 1.5 m.
The worried father rushed to file his complaint on the portal of the Punjab government . In his complaint, the aggrieved father gave complete details how his daughter and her friend were abducted by very powerful and politically well connected gang led by Deputy Prime Minister ‘s grandson and how they were being abused by the gang to extortionate money . Simultaneously , He also approached to Dutch embassy in Islamabad and sought risk free release of his kidnapped daughter and her friend.
Dutch embassy immediately took the matter to the Foreign Office in Islamabad for safe release of both foreign women .
Dutch embassy’s coming into action created huge panic in the Lahore police and high ups who are close relatives of the main accused , Ahmad Raza Dar . The Lahore police as usual used concocted stories to create an impression that it moved abruptly into action after recieving orders from the chief minister . However , unfolding of follow up events linked to abduction , torture and gang rape , denied all claims of the Lahore police . The content of the FIR and following statemrnts of the victims under Section 164 of PPC revealed the true story. Now the court is heading the case which has already tarnished Pakistan’s image world over . If the Lahore police kept on faking the case and keep making false claims it will further damage Pakistan . If the law failed to deliver justice to the victims it would stamp that Pakistan ‘s judiciary has no credibility and it can be used to protect powerful criminals in this country.
