COVID-19 Vaccine Kicks Off in Canada

  1. TORONTO, CANADA: It’s good news for Canadians amid the eve of Christmas that a long awaiting COVID-19 vaccine kicked off today in Canada by administering a dose of Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine to Anita Quidangen, a personal support worker in Toronto, Canada on Monday.   Definitely, it will give a sigh of relief among the people against about nine months of ongoing multiple pandemics-related problems and restrictions besides a positive hope to back to normalize the situation that exists before the world-wide spread of COVID-19.
  1. As per Canadian’s print and tv media, Anita Quidangen is one of among five front-line health professionals, who got a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, which arrived by plane in Canada from the United States last night. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine requires two doses several weeks apart.
  2. Reports also revealed that the Ministry of Health Canada has said that Health-care workers, long-term care residents and their caregivers will be among the first to receive the vaccine. The vaccines becoming more broadly available to the general public in April next year, they added.
