CTD chief Shaukat Abbas visits FC Lines and incident site in Bannu, Pays glowing tribute to martyrs

Peshawar – Additional Inspector General of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shaukat Abbas, visited the Frontier Constabulary (FC) Lines, the terror affected building, and the incident site in Bannu.He was accompanied by DIG Bannu Region Sajjad Khan, SP CTD Fazal Wahid, and senior officers of the Frontier Constabulary.

During the visit, Shaukat Abbas paid rich tribute to the bravery and courage of the police and security forces personnel.He offered special prayers for the high ranks of the martyred officials who sacrificed their lives during the operation, as well as for the speedy recovery of the injured.

In his message, the CTD Chief emphasized that the sacrifices of police and security forces will never go in vain.It is because of the blood of these martyrs that peace prevails in the country today, he stated, adding that the nefarious designs of terrorists will never be allowed to succeed.

Shaukat Abbas further said that the war against terrorism has entered its final phase, and with the cooperation of the entire nation, the complete eradication of terrorism will be ensured.He stressed that the people and security institutions are united, and through their joint efforts, the environment of peace and stability will be further strengthened.

The Additional IGP reaffirmed his commitment that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and CTD will enhance their counterterrorism measures in line with modern requirements.Providing a peaceful environment to the people is our top priority, he reiterated.
