CWC 23: South Africa beat Bangladesh by 149 runs

Mumbai : Oct 23 : South Africa defeated Bangladesh by 149 runs in the 23rd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup.
The South African batsmen gave Bangladesh a target of 383 runs to win, in pursuit of which the Bangladeshi team managed to score 233 runs.

In this match played at the Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai, the South African captain won the toss and decided to bat first. During the first 8 overs of the innings, South Africa lost 2 wickets for 36 runs.
Riza Hendricks was dismissed for 12 and Rossy Vanderdusson for 1 but in-form batsman Quinton de Kock stuck to one end.

After losing the first two wickets, Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram formed a partnership and took the score to 167 runs, after which Aiden Markram was dismissed for 60 runs in 30.4 overs.
After that, a partnership of 143 runs from 87 balls was formed between Quinton de Kock and Henrik Klaasen for the fourth wicket, which redeemed the sixes of the Bangladeshi bowlers.
The fourth South African batsman out was Quinton de Kock, who played a smoky innings of 174 runs which included 15 fours and 7 sixes.

In the closing moments of the innings, Henrik Klaasen’s bat kept pouring in runs and the new batsman David Miller also cleaned up his hand well.
Claesin was dismissed for 90 runs in the last over while his innings included 2 fours and 8 sixes.
David Miller played an unbeaten innings of 34 runs off 15 balls while Marco Janssen scored a run. On behalf of Bangladesh, Hasan Mehmood dismissed 2 players while Mehdi Hasan Miraz, Shariful Islam and Shakibul Hasan took one wicket each. Bangladesh got off to a disappointing start in pursuit of the target.

It should be noted that in this match South African team is led by Eden Markram and Bangladesh is led by Shakib Al Hasan.
