Islamabad : Pakistan Muslim League Quaid e Azam (PMLQ) has suggested to the Shahbaz government not to take a decision to ban Tehreek -e -Insaf (PTI) in a haste. PMLQ Central Secretary Information and Spokesman , Ghulam Mustafa Malik , spoke to the media here on Tuesday on the issue. He said PMLQ president , Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain , has a clear stance on the issue and intends that the government should take all aspects of the matter legal as well as political into account before taking a decision to ban PTI. Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain has reminded to the government that it would have to protect its decision of banning PTI in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) in coming times. Ghulam Mustafa Malik said PMLQ, being a crucial ally , would suggest to the government that it should avoid taking any decision which may add fuel to already politically divided society. He said PMLQ strongly believes that the government which represents the state should show wisdom and grace in its actions on such a sensitive issue. He said PMLQ believes that any decision to ban PTI could bring more political instability in Pakistan and make it difficult for the government to focus on major issues relating to political and economic stability. He suggested that the government should improve its performance and take the measures to address the problems of the people of Pakistan. Ghulam Mustafa Malik said that PMLQ also calls upon PTI leadership to show political maturity and play its role in pulling Pakistan out of the current political and economic crisis. He said PTI had been in the power in the past and it should not follow the policy of confrontation as it can only invite more crisis for Pakistan.
