Dollar ditches rupee ; Dar’s waring goes waste

KARACHI : November 3,2022: US dollar took over the rupee with a gain of Rs 0.75 on Thursday.

In interbank ,US dollar appreciated to Rs 222 against its last day’s value of Rs 221.25 ..

In open market , US dollar ‘s value increased by Rs 0.50 . In open market , US dollar 225.50 . On Wednesday , US dollar closed at Rs 225 to a rupee .

US dollar is showing upward trend in domestic market despite commitment of inflow of $ 1.5 billion Asian Development Bank (ADB) .

In a recent meeting , Finance minister , Ishaq Dar, had issued a warning to the forex companies not to indulge in manipulation of the local currency .

Since coming back from London and taking over as Finance minister , Ishaq Dar , is continuously claiming that some Mafias are operating in Pakistan’s currency and he would not allow for it.
