Downpours batter ICT pushing water level in Nulla Lai to danger level

Islamabad : Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) confronted heavy downpours in the afternoon on Monday. It produced a flood like situation in many posh sectors of Islamabad and later rain water created high floods in Nullah Lai . Here is sector wise rain report recorded at 08.20 PM PST. Like all other cities of Pakistan, Islamabad has also seen unabated encroachment of nullahs and other water channels that result in blockade of water in heavy rains and subsequently it inundates densely populated areas in the cities.
