Morocco : Oct 13 : Federal minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar met with Dr. Seyed Ehsan for Khandozi, Finance Minister of Iran, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of WB/IMF, in Marrakesh.
The meeting was marked by productive discussions on strengthening economic cooperation and exploring avenues for bilateral trade and investment. Both Ministers expressed their commitment to further strengthen economic ties for advancing mutual interests. ederal Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar @1sakhtar, and the CEO of the Islamic Trade Finance Cooperation, Mr. Hani Salem Sonbol, convened a high-level meeting today, in Marrakesh.
The Finance minister is in Morocco to attend annual meeting of IMF and WB. She is having meetings with her counterparts of various counties . Ms Shamshad is also meeting the senior management of various global banks and financial institutions.
