Empowering Women: CM Commends Jeep Rally Driver’s Skills

Lahore: Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, has directed the relevant authorities to make the best possible accommodations for the attendees and participants of the 9th TDCP (Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab) Thal Desert Rally in the districts of Layyah, Kot Addu, and Muzaffargarh.

She stated, “The inclusion of women drivers in the TDCP Thal Desert Rally is welcome. We are pursuing a policy of providing equal opportunities for entertainment to the citizens of Punjab.”

The chief minister was informed that the race participants’ registration, tagging, inspection, and medical examination would occur in Chhanga Manga Dunes near Kot Addu.

In addition to the qualifying round, the spectators will be entertained by riding exhibitions at a horse track. There will also be a Jhumar dance, javelin throwing, and kabaddi.

On November 9, Chobara will host the stock category race, while Layyah will host the javelin and kabaddi events.

There will also be a fireworks show and a cultural night.

On November 10, the women’s Jeep race will take place. There will also be quad and dirt bike races in Chobara and Kot Addu.

Muzaffargarh will host the award distribution event for the desert rally winners.
