Islamabad: Feb 20,2023: Pakistan Press Council former chairman, senior expert in law and constitutional affairs, Brahvi Akdi chairman , Dr. Salahuddin Mangel, (Presidential Medal of Distinction) has said that an 85-member federal cabinet was a burden on financially debt trapped Pakistan. Mr Mangel made these assertions at a forum of Pakistan media think tank held here.
He said Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) center should be established in Khuzdar in Balochistan and 100 commissioned officers of the army should be selected from Kalat every year. He also demanded that Baloch youth of Balochistan should be given age and educational standard relaxation for employment in government departments in the federal government.
Dr Salahuddin Mangel argued that selection of more cadet can help them play their active role for development of the country, He pointed out that Baloch youth are also worried due to the economic conditions of the country and the government should take measures to give them employment. He noted that the government should increase quota of Balochistan to 10% to.get more opportunities to get jons in the federal government department. Job opportunities can be made available in the departments, He said sooner the government takes measures in this regard, better it would the Supreme Court will be.
Mr Mangel said that its responsibility of the state to provide basic facilities for education and the federal government should realize the practical difficulties of students and parents for education in Balochistan while fulfilling this constitutional responsibility. He said lthe citizens of Balochistan are very worried about the education of their children and the government should realize it.
“By giving better education, we can prepare our young generation to compete with the world”, Mr Mangel said.
He said that our national economy has a large share of overseas workers. He added that with focus on the education sector, Pakistan can get its best results and it would help inculcate cultural values in the nation.
He said ‘Allah has blessed Pakistan with the best natural minerals and we have an extremely valuable treasure buried in the ground, including gold in Sendak if we use our mineral resources, then our generations will not have to owe money from IMF, but for this we need a patriotic leadership”. He said that there are deprivations in Balochistan and the people of the province should be given their rights. He said that how can an 85-member cabinet beautify a country stuck in crippling debts. We only need God-fearing rulers who will end non-developmental spending, corruption and usurious economy and protect the annual remittances of thirty billion dollars sent by overseas Pakistanis.
