DUBAI: Feb 5,2023: Former army chief and president , Pervez Musharraf, passed away in Dubai after protracted ailment.
Pervez Musharraf had disposed off Nawaz Sharif government and imposed martial law in 1999. Later , he had an agreement with Sharifs to allow them to travel to Saudi Arabia.
Later , he went in exile after doffing off uniform. He left Pakistan in 2016. Since then he was residing in Dubai.

He was suffering from serious disease in Dubai and finally he passed away today in that country.
In a message , army top brass condoled demice of Pervez Musharraf . In condolence message , Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said “CJCSC & Services Chiefs express heartfelt condolences on sad demise of General Pervez Musharaf, Former President, CJCSC and Chief of Army Staff. May Allah bless the departed soul and give strength to bereaved family”.
