Amendment could harass business community , hurts Pakistan's doing business mantra .

Former Chairman Coordination FPCCI, Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Pakistan Mirza Abdul Rehman has said that the government should withdraw the amendment ordinance bill.

The tough practices in the amendment will increase the difficulties. Instead of the old taxpayers, a new tax network should be expanded. The monthly fixed tax system should be introduced. The exemption given to FATA and PATA in the tax net should be withdrawn.

The trust of the business community in the FBR should be restored. He said that unlimited authority will increase corruption. The economy is already in a bad state in the country. The business community is very worried about inflation, while the industry is in a bad state.

The working class is becoming unemployed day by day. The suggestions of the chambers should be implemented to meet the government’s goals. The country runs on the taxes of the business community.
The tough provisions in the amendment affect formal business. If more taxes are imposed in the budget, the country will be economically killed. He said He said that tax evasion in the country should be accounted for, steps should be taken to reduce the expenses of the government and the elite, relief should be given to the industry in corporate tax, and the budget environment should be made business-friendly.
