Islamabad : Finally , an official of French Intelligence confirmed on Wednesday to CNN that Pakistan downed at least one Rafale fighter jet when Pakistan Air Force engaged Indian fighter jets in a mid -night attacks.
The official of French Intelligence also confirmed that Pakistan’s J 10 C used Chinese made PL-15 missile to down at least French company’s made one Rafale fighter jet. The official of French Intelligence confirmed to CNN that by downing Rafale in Wednesday ‘s dog fight , Pakistan has become the first ever country and its PAF the first ever air force to down Rafale fighter jet.
At least six dozens Indian fighter jets launched air attacks on Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir at mid-night last night . Pakistan Air Force took India ‘s challenge and engaged India ‘s fighter jets , which included recently acquired Rafale jets, MIGs and Sukhui jets and shot down five of them . Three Rafale fighter jets were downed in Indian Occupied Kashmir and two in Indian Punjab.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) spokesperson , Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif Chaudhary , gave details in his morning briefing of all five downed Indian jets with their locations and wreckages. Then Defence minister , Khawaja Asif , in his talk with the media in the afternoon also confirmed downing of five Indian jets including three Rafale jets.
In the evening , Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , re-confirmed that PAF responded to Indian air attack between May 6 and 7 night at around 12.45 PM and shot down five of its fighter jets including three Rafale jets.
India remained mum over loss of Rafale and other jets despite showing of wreckages of its downed
Jets by the international media. Its officials, who updated Indian media on India’s attacks , spoke on different locations which India selected to kill innocent civilians in Pakistan, but they did not utter a single word on downing of Indian fighter jets by PAF.
India wanted to dodge the world on embarrassment it faced in the dog fight in mid-night attacks.
