“Go home by January 31 or you will be thrown out”. PDM tells IK

LARKANA: PPP chairman, Balawal Bhutto Zardari announced final deadline for prime minister, Imran Khan, to resign from office by January 31, 2021 in his address to a mammoth gathering at Gari Khuda Bux on 13th anniversary of her slain mother, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, on December 27, 2020.
Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was killed by terrorists in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007 when she was departing from Liaqat Bagh after addressing a big rally. Since her death, Pakistan has been undergoing unending turmoil on both fronts –political and economic.
Those who targeted Benazir Bhutto at Liaqat Bagh Rawalpinid knew well her death will end-up at putting Pakistan’s survival at risk.
A big crowed had gathered at Gari Khuda on December 27, 2020, to pay tribute to their leader.Balawal Bhutto Zardari addressing the crowed said selected government of Imran Khan has devastated the country in half of its tenure and his further stay in power could bring more miseries to the people of this country, besides causing irreparable loss to Pakistan.
PPP chairman said PDM is on the street to oust this incompetent and venomous prime minister and it will struggle to bring his what he said unlawful rule to and end through political struggle.
“We are coming to Islamabad if you do not resign by January 31, 2020 and our struggle will end up[ at throwing you out of power”, Balawal roared in his address.
PPP chairman cited different examples of weakening of Pakistan politically and economically during the tenure of what he termed as selected prime minister and said PPP wants CPEC which benefits the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan and this CPEC is that was initiated by Asif Ali Zardari and pushed forward by Nawaz Sharif.
Former president, Asif Ali Zardari in his address through skyp to the gathering said this prime minister is incompetent and can not run the affairs of this country. He said let us have free and fair elections to see who is real leader of the masses. “One who has support of the masses will win the election and rule this country to give benefit to the people besides making this country democratically strong”, Zardari said
Other PDM leaders including PMLN vice president, Maryam Nawaz, Mahmood Khan Achakzai of Pukhtunkhawa Milli Awami Party , Amir Haider Hoti of ANP , Abdul Ghafoor Haideri of JUI F and Awais Ahmad Noorani of JUP and Akhtar Mangal of BNP also addressed to the gathering and paid tribute to the slain prime minister Mohtarman Benazir Bhutto.
The PDM leadership demanded fresh elections in the country to steer it out of existing political turmoil. The PDM leaders were unanimous on almost all national issues raging from price hike to unemployment and incompetence of Imran Khan’s government. They vowed to oust Imran Khan through street struggle as in their views further stay of Imran Khan in power could cause damage to the country and make things worse for the masses.
