Gold loses shine in Pakistan—check latest rates of July 12

RAWALPINDI: July 11, 2023: As forex reserves soar, the gold prices lose shine massively in Pakistan today. Gold lost value by another Rs 4000 a tola for 24 carat in the local market on Wednesday. The gold prices had reduced by Rs 2000 per tola for 24 carat other day.

According to Markazi Sarafa Union, Rawalpindi, the gold rates for 24 carat today (Monday) reduced to Rs 200000 from last day’s value of Rs 204000 on the last working day.
The price of a tola for 22 carat in the local market is recorded today at Rs 193800. The rates of 10 gram gold for 24 carat is Rs 171465 and rates of 10 gram gold for 22 carat today is Rs 166150. The rate of gold per tola for 24 Karat (bar) is recorded at Rs 203000.

The sliver price is also relatively reducing quickly in the local market. Today silver rates in the local market dropped down to Rs 2500 per tola.
In international market, the gold rates reduced massively. It settled down to $ 1934.50 per ounce. It showed 2 % increase in the last 24 hours.
