Gold prices continue to surge in Pakistan—check latest rates of July 17

RAWALPINDI: July 17, 2023: Despite downward trend in global market, the local market is continuously pushing gold prices up in Pakistan market. Gold has gained Rs 12000 per tola in just four days in the local market.
According to Markazi Sarafa Union, Rawalpindi, the gold rates for 24 carat today (Monday) increased to Rs 212000 from its rates of Rs 200000 on July 12, just four days ago.

The price of a tola for 22 carat in the local market soared to Rs 205400. The rates of 10 gram gold for 24 carat is Rs 181755 and rates of 10 gram gold for 22 carat today is Rs 176100. The rate of gold per tola for 24 Karat (bar) is recorded at Rs 214500.

The sliver price is stagnant in the local market. Today silver rates in the local market dropped down to Rs 2500 per tola.
In international market, the gold rates decreased by $ 5.30 to settle to $ 1959.10 per ounce on July 17 .
