RAWALPINDI : May 1,2023: Gold set yet another peak record in its price in Pakistan market on May 1,2023.
According to Markazi Sarafa Bazar Rawalpindi, gold per tola price for 24 Carat jumped up to Rs 217500 in local market today..
Gold had touched Rs 218000 mark a few days ago and then it slided down to Rs 215000 per tola.
Likewise , gold price per tola for 22 Carat today is Rs 210700. The rate of 10 gram for 24 Carat gold in the local market is Rs 186470 and similarly the price of 10 gram golf for 22 Carat today is Rs 180640.
The price of 24 Carat gold (Bar) is Rs 219500 per tola.
The gold prices in Pakistan are rising for two reasons . One the precious metal price is on the rise in the international market.
Second , depreciation of the rupee stoked gold prices in the local market .
Although the price of gold is going all time high in Pakistan , but this trend is having negative impact on gold business.
The gold traders are worried about future of their business as they feel that the rise in gold price is compelling their clients to switch from gold over to artificial jewellery.
