KARACHI : Dec 15, 2022: Gold rates in Pakistan are on the rise. On Thursday gold rate per tola for 24 karat in local market is Rs 171400 . The price of 10 gram gold for 24 karat is Rs 146680 and the rate of one gram gold for 24 karat is Rs 14695.
The rate of 22 karat gold per tola is Rs 157116. The rate of 21 karat gold per tola is Rs 149975 and rate of 18 karat gold per tola is Rs 128550.
Silver rates are also on the rise in Pakistan. On Thursday, silver rate in domestic saraf market is Rs 2060 per tola.
Gold rates differ for different cities of Pakistan. The variation in gold rates ranging between Rs 100 to Rs 400 per tola for 24 karat.

In Karachi, gold rate for 24 karat per tola is Rs 171400. In Lahore , gold rate per tola for 24 karat is Rs 171460. In Islamabad/ Rawalpindi, gold rate for 24 karat per tola is Rs 171610. In Quetta, gold rate for 24 karat per tola is Rs 171610 and in Peshawar, gold rate for 24 karat per tola is Rs 171660.
Gold rates are bullish in Pakistan as investors are taking great interest in buying of precious metal. The experts in gold trading believe that the gold will remain bullish in next couple of weeks.
Mohmmad Rafiq, an owner of Murree Jewellers in Rawalpindi told NEWSMAN that the demand of gold is on the rise and this phenomenon is likely to continue at least next couple of weeks.
“We do not see any downward trend in gold rates in coming days of the current month”, Mr Rafiq said.
In international market, gold is losing its shine. It slid down to $ 1776 showing a decrease of $ 31.40 in the last 24 hours.
