Rawalpindi /Islamabad: April 27, 2024 : Gold rebounded in Pakistan on Saturday with an increase of Rs 4500 per tola in its domestic market of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Fixing is at play in gold market in Pakistan . Last week , the gold rates had crashed by Rs 8500 in a day , bringing its rates down to Rs 231000 from Rs 239000. Then the fixers got active again. They played to push the gold rates up again. They have managed to jack up the prices of gold at the highest level in just one week. With a massive increase , the gold rates for 24 carat gold were recorded at Rs 237500 in the local markets of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Likewise, 22 carat gold rates per tola jumped up to Rs 230100. The price of 10 gram of 24 carat gold increased to Rs 203615 and the rates of 10 gram gold of 22 carat jumped up to Rs 197275. The rates of silver per tola in the local market stood at Rs 2600 . The price of gold bar 24 carat (100) gram is recorded at 239500 in the local market.
