Islamabad : There is no change in the prices of petroleum products for the current fortnight , an official notification said here.
The Finance ministry in its handout said the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) worked out the rates of the petroleum products on the basis of their trend in the last two weeks and decided to keep petrol and other petroleum product prices unchanged for the current fortnight.
The government decision of keeping the petroleum product prices have come amidst rumours of another upward revision in the petroleum product prices for the current fortnight (Nov 16-30).
Electronic media in Pakistan was claiming an increase in the petroleum product rates for the current fortnight.
However , like majority of electronic media reports , its claims of upward revision in the petroleum product prices proved its flight of imagination.
