Govt, TLP reach agreement to end Islamabad sit in

ISLAMABAD: The government and Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) have reached to an agreement to end sit in in Islamabad.
The agreement has been signed by three representatives of each party. On behalf of the federal government, the hand written agreement shows signatures of Interior minister, Aijaz Shah, Religious minister, Noorul Haq Qadri and Islamabad  Chief Commissioner , Amir Ali Ahmed.

TLP repsentatives including , Dr Shafiq Amin, Syed Anayat ul Haq Shah and Allama Ghulam Abbas Faizi signed the agreement.
The agreement indicates the goverment accepted all  four TLP’s demands to end sit in in the federal capital.
The conditions accepted by the government included expulsion of French ambassador from  Pakistan in three months in protest against French president’s anti Islam remarks, officially banning of French products in Pakistan, release of all arrested TLP workers and  guarantee  for not registering cases against TLP leaders in future with reference to Faizabad sit in.
TLP had staged sit in at Faizabad ..Main entry point of the federal capital…from Sunday last  to force the federal government to shut down French embassy in Islamabad and expel French ambassador from Pakistan in protest against French president’s remarks against Islam.
The people in Pakistan are protesting against French president’s objectionable remarks for several weeks. They are demanding of the government to cut down its diplomatic ties with French government.
The government is under pressure due to mounting protests of right wing religious parties of Pakistan and take actions to end its diplomatic ties with France
