ISLAMABAD : October 11,2022. Senator Haji Ghulam Ali ,a well known businessman hailing from Peshawar , is likely to be appointed as Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK).
According to NEWSMAN sources, a decision to appoint Senator Haji Ghulam Ali as KPK Governor has formally been made after creating concensus among all key stakeholders and a formal announcement to this effect is likely to be made in a few days.
Sources added that Senator Ghulam Ali’s appointment has already been approved by prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif
Haji Ghulam Ali is a vibrant politician and a close relative of Jamiat e Ulema Islam (JUI) F chief , Maulana Fazalur Rehman. He had been a president of Federation of Chamber of Commerce (FPCCI) also .
Since Haji Ghulam Ali is a vibrant political figure of KPK and also enjoys good repute in business community his appointment as a Governor could be a good omen for terror -hit province of KPK.
