ISLAMABAD : Hajj operation 2025 has begun in Pakistan. The first Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight –PK 713 took off from Islamabad on the wee hours on Tuesday. Religious minister, Mohammad Yousaf, and PIA Chief Executive Officer, Air Vice Martial, Amir Hayat and Saudi Ambassador, Nawaf ul Maliki , were present at the departure of the first Hajj flight from Islamabad for Madina , Saudi Arabia.
According to PIA spokesman , Abdullah Hafeez , PIA will complete Hajj 2025 operation by May 31, 2025. He said PIA will operate 117 flights and complete Hajj 2025 operation by May 31, 2025. PIA will operate from Hajj 2025 operation from six major cities of Pakistan Including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar , Islamabad , Multan and Quetta.
PIA flight from Quetta also left with 170 passenger onboard at 10 AM today. A PIA flight from Lahore with 323 passengers on board will also left for Madina on the evening at 10 PM on April 29, 2025. In the first phase, PIA flights carrying intending Hajjis will land in Holy City of Madina and in the second phase PIA flights will land at Jedda airport in Saudi Arabia.
PIA will also start operation for bringing back home Hajis from Saudi Arabia from June 10, 2025 and complete operation for return of Hajis on July 10, 2025. This year PIA will facilitate 35200 Hajjis who are availing government Hajj scheme.
Intending Hajis who will leave from Islamabad and Karachi airports will complete process at these airports –Islamabad and Karachi—before their departure from Pakistan under Road to Mecca Progamme.
