Las Vegas, October 19, 2024: Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are teasing each other to win over as many swing states as possible. Harris questioned Trump’s physical capacity to carry out his presidential duties, while Trump cited the strength and effort he invested in the campaign trail.
Harris voiced her doubts about 78-year-old Trump, comparing it to the situation that tangled 81-year-old Joe Biden and caused him to withdraw from the race.
Harris claimed on Friday that news reports of former President Trump avoiding interviews due to fatigue and declining the opportunity to debate her again raised concerns about his suitability for government.
She told reporters before a rally in Grand Rapids, “It should be a concern. If he can’t handle the rigors of the campaign trail, is he fit to do the job? That’s a legitimate question.”
In an interview with reporters upon his arrival in Detroit, Trump denied such discussion. “I’ve gone 48 days now without a rest,” he declared.
Trump stated, “I’m not even tired. I’m really exhilarated. You know why? We’re killing her in the polls, because the American people don’t want her.”
With only eighteen days before the election, Trump and Harris are sabotaging each other to gain control of the seven states that will determine the US presidential election in 2024.

Trump also complained about Fox’s unfavorable television advertisements against him in an interview with Fox & Friends. He stated he would urge Rupert Murdoch, the founder of News Corp, to open a new tab, which also started Fox News, to make sure the ads don’t air until November 5, Election Day.
Trump said, “I’m going to say, ‘Rupert, please do it this way and then we’re going to have a victory, cause everyone wants that.”
Trump is trying to have support from Arab Americans in Michigan.
Trump said, without elaborating, “We all ultimately want one thing. We want peace in the Middle East. We’re going to get peace in the Middle East. It’s going to happen very fast. It can happen with the right leadership in Washington.”
Trump and Harris are engaged in a heated contest for the state’s working-class, union, Arab American, and senior voters.
Trump won Michigan by 11,000 votes in 2016. In 2020, Biden beat Trump in the state by 155,000 votes.
Harris is changing her campaign’s approach to appeal to more Republicans and men of all races. Additionally, she is asking Michelle Obama, the well-liked former first lady, to campaign for Harris on October 26 in Michigan.
According to Reuters/Ipsos polling, Harris’ national lead has shrunk from a 7% point lead over Trump in late September to just 3 points. This is because Americans are still concerned about the high cost of food and rent, and Trump’s increasingly divisive rhetoric has heightened fears about migrants crossing the US-Mexico border.
