KATACHI. DEC 1,2022: After losing value in the last session on Wednesday , the rupee appreciated slightly against US dollar in interbank in the morning session on Thursday.
The rupee gained 30 paisa against US dollar to settle at Rs 233.75 against its last day rates of Rs 224 in interbank.
In open market , the rupee-US dollar parity remained settled. In open market , the rupee had lost massively the other day.
Inflow of funds is a reason for the rupee in the first half of working session on Thursday.
Saudi Riyal did not show any fluctuation and remained stable at Rs 63.00. UAE dirham also remained stable and it traded at Rs 65 during the first working session on Thursday.
Euro in contrast to other currencies made huge gain in the first session . It jumped to Rs 246.50 from its last day’s rates of Rs 244.50.
