This is the picture of the very school coaster with bullet hole in the window with a child’s sticker that was attacked by a barbarian Swat Police Constable Alam Khan at the school gate of Public School Sangota Swat, in which 2 junior students faced martyrdom and another 6 injured that resulted into closure of School when the Board Examination are in progress .
The developed world that throws coins into our begging bowl will have a hearty laughter to look at our helplessness to protect our own children while we champion the cause of world peace by portraying ourselves as the first line state fighting terrorism.
The people of the former Swat State who blindly signed the accession to join Pakistan on their own free are suffering at the hands of their own heartless government who treats Swat as a prized booty of a conquered territory where its citizens face worst insecurity and now their children and their future is under attack by it own law enforcers and insensitive state .
One wonders how difficult it is to provide the school with independent security of their choice that they demand from the incumbent Chief Minister, Corps Commander and Chief Secretary and ensure Public School Sangota Swat run by the presentation sisters continues imparting affordable quality education to the daughters of the local people of Swat, whose livelihoods are otherwise destroyed by this endless and senseless terrorism business that has no end in sight while the people of Swat suffers, losing faith in their own state and its capabilities either to protect them or their children.
Let’s see whether the government of the day and all those enjoying the perks and privileges today in the state of Pakistan will be able to survive for long when those who pay for their luxuries are denied security of their children and protection their future.
