Impass ends: Iran sending high-ranking delegation to Islamabad tonight for second round of talks with US

Islamabad : In a major development, Iran is going to send its delegation to Islamabad tonight for a crucial meeting with Pakistani authorities for key discussion on the disputed issues of ME and later it could lead to a formal second round of talks between Iran and Pakistan here.

Earlier , Iran’s Foreign minister, Abbas Iraqchi, called Pakistan’s deputy prime minister and Foreign minister , Ishaq Dar , and Chief Defence Forces (CDF) , Asim Munir, on Friday. He appreciated Pakistan’s mediatory role for talks between US and Iran to end the ME conflict.

Although nothing officially has been said by the authorities in Islamabad, but it’s perceived that Iran ‘s positive response is the outcome of Pakistan’s continuous efforts to woo Iran to come to a negotiation table in Islamabad for negotiations with the United States (US) and find a settled solution to the Middle East (ME) crisis.

Mystery is surrounding US-Iran second round of talks for a couple of weeks. Pakistan is making serious efforts for the last three to four weeks to bring Iran on the negotiations table for second round of talks in Islamabad . The US is ready to send its high-ranking delegation to have discussion with Iranian side on the dispute , but some latest developments led to widen the gap of mistrust between the warring parties and it led to delay in talks. Despite negative developments during the last few days, Pakistan continued to struggle for bringing Iran on the negotiation table and help both the parties to find a peaceful solution to the ME war.

Officials sources in Islamabad are hinting at early second round of talks between Iran and US.

The entire world is appreciating Pakistan’s role as a key negotiator between Iran and US for ending the ME war.
