Islamabad : Pakistan is going to decide its case for participation in T20 world cup 2026 .
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief , Mohsin Naqvi , is scheduled to meet prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , to take his final word on participation of team Pakistan in T20 cricket world cup 2026.

Pakistan is uncomfortable over International Cricket Council ‘s verdict of denying Bangladesh to play its matches of T20 world cup 2026 at a neutral venue in the wake of Bangladesh Cricket Board ‘s concerns regarding safety and security of its players in the case of playing T20 world cup 2026 matches in India.

Bangladesh had requested to ICC to change venue of its matches of T20 world cup as its players may not be feel themselves safe while playing its matches of T20 world cup 2026 , starting from February 5, 2026.

Bangladesh and India are not having good relationship in Hasina’s uncerenminial exist from power . Their friction has brought the games close to bad ending. India being a big country is trying to penalise Bangladesh in the games fields. First , it expelled Bangladesh’s star player out of IPL and now its using leverage in ICC to close doors of T20 world cup 2026 on Bangladesh.

Pakistan is striving to convince ICC that it should have the same yardstick for all membe countries and permit Bangladesh to play its matches in Sri Lanka as it granted the concession to India when it refused to send its team to play in Pakistan.
