ISLAMABAD: In a rare assertion, chief of army staff (COAS), Qamar Javed Bajwa, on Sunday said Pakistan was fully aware of the conspiracies hatched by the enemy as a part of its 5th generation war and its armed forces were well -equipped and well-positioned not only to thwart these conspiracies , but also fully ready to give it a befitting response.
“Our enemy has unleashed 5th generation war on Pakistan and, as a part of it , using its cronies to hurle baseless accusations on armed forces and damage its credibility, but let.me tell our enemy it like other fronts is going to get defeated in this new concept of the war”, Bajwa told his army on Pakistan Defence Day celebrated across Pakistan with reference to Indian attack on September 6, 1965.
India had attached Pakistan on September 6, 1965 and suffered humiliating defeat after 21 days of fierce fight.
COAS reminded to the Indian leadership that New Delhi’s hostile policies have once again put peace and security of the region at risk and to give its hegemostic approach it resorted to illegal act.of eroding special status of Indian occupied Kashmir granted it.under article 370 . He said Indian aggressive.approach was a cause of creating.instability in the region. The army chief asserted that Pakistan was fully aware of Indian conspiracies and will defeat it with full force. He added that Indian piles of arms and ammunition will not intimidate Pakistan. “I have a loud and clear message for our enemy you will get even bigger surprise than Bala Kot false operation if dared to show aggressive posture to Pakistan”, Bajwa concluded.
