California: Instagram’s post-boosting features have been extended, giving users new ways to increase the exposure of their best-performing natural material.
Through the platform’s “Boost” function, users may capitalize on posts connecting with their audience by streamlining and simplifying the ad creation process.
Because of restrictions in Meta’s system and copyright issues, some posts were previously not eligible for boosting. A recent change, however, makes a greater variety of postings eligible for direct app-based boosting.
Instagram clarifies:
“Ever tried to boost content with GIFs, stickers, or copyrighted music and faced an error? Give it another go. Instagram’s latest update to boosting now means that most GIFs and stickers are now eligible to be boosted.”

Notably, this only applies to “most” posts—not “all”—and Instagram has not cleared which particular posts will be eligible. Users who have previously had trouble promoting high-performing posts might find this upgrade to be a chance to revisit and maximize their marketing efforts.
GIFs and stickers won’t stop promoting in subsequent posts. To utilize the feature, users must have a professional account; music restrictions will remain in effect.
Users will be able to choose a different music that satisfies the requirements if a particular song is not suitable for boosting.
Furthermore, users in Europe who have a subscription to Meta’s ad-free service will not be able to boost posts—a limitation that seems to be a system bug.

Despite its minor size, this update is crucial for users who want to maximize their Instagram performance by sharing their best material with more people. Instagram has verified that the app is currently live with these post-boosting adjustments.
