Islamabad : May 19,2024 ; An Iranian helicopter with president Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign minister aboard has crashed in Northern part of Iran, Iran’s state media reported on Sunday. According to Iranian media , ill-fated helicopter had made hard landing due to bad weather in North of Iran. The rescue teams are trying to make contact with the helicopter ‘s pilot and other members who are aboard with president Ebrahim Raisi in possible crash area in North of Iran but still , as per Iranian media , there is no contact with the crew or the members of the delegation accompanying Iranian president and Foreign minister. Huge fog in the North of Iran is impeding Iran’s rescue efforts in the possible crash area in North of Iran, the state media said. Iran’s state media said the people of Iran have been asked by the government to pray for the lives of those who are aboard . Pakistan government and its people are seriously worried about the lives of all those who are aboard in the helicopter. Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif issued a statement on Sunday evening expressing serious concern over the helicopter carrying Iran’s president Ebrahim Raisi and his delegation and prayed for their safety in the crash.
