Tehran/ Islamabad : Updated at 2.06 PM on Friday : In the new dangerous development , Pakistan has condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran.
Pakistan ‘s parliament on Friday passed a unanimous resolution condemning Israel ‘s attacks on Iran on Thursday morning.
Foreign Office issued condemning statement on Israel attacks on Iran.
Israel had hit at 100 targets in Iran . Israeli attacks killed a number of Iranian military leaders including President of Iran , chief of Iranian Forces and chief of Iran’s Pasdran and half a dozen top scientists of Iran.
Earlier , Deputy Prime Minister , Ishaq Dar , in address on the Resolution said Israel violated Iran’s sovereignty by attacking on it. He said Pakistan stands for sovereignty of Iran and demands international community to take notice of Israel’s uncalled for attack on Iran.
Israel launched strikes on Iran early Friday local time, a dramatic escalation in long-running tensions between the two countries. Netanyahu said the operation targeted Iran’s nuclear program and “will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat.”
According to the international media , Tasnim, the state media arm of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has confirmed Hossein Salami, the commander in chief of the IRGC, was killed. Salami was at the IRGC headquarters in Tehran when he was killed in Israel’s attack on the building.
The media reports said the U.S. is not involved in the action. Israel acted unilaterally, as per Trump, and their top priority is protecting American forces in the region. The board of governors of IAEA, UN’s nuclear watchdog, formally found this week that Iran isn’t complying with its nuclear obligations for the first time in 20 years.
There is no reaction from Iran on Israel’s attacks. There is either no details of the damages done by Israel’s attacks on Iran.
Iran had cautioned a few days ago that in case it was attacked by Israel its forces will retaliate and attack on US bases and other assets in the region.
