Jeddah: Nawaz Sharif meets PML-N office bearers after Umrah and visit to Prophet’s Mosque

Jeddah : Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, held a brief meeting with office bearers and workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Jeddah before departing for Pakistan, following the completion of his Umrah pilgrimage and visit to the Prophet’s Mosque (ﷺ).

The meeting was attended by PML-N Jeddah Patron-in-Chief Masood Ahmed Puri, Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Gujar, Malik Bilal, Senior Vice President Noor Muhammad Arain, Chairman of PML-N Jeddah Region Mian Rizwan-ul-Haq, President Umar Masood Puri, along with other party officials and workers.

On this occasion, participants offered special prayers for the health and well-being of the former Prime Minister and discussed party affairs, issues faced by overseas Pakistanis, and organizational matters. Party workers also condemned incidents of terrorism and external interference in Azad Kashmir, emphasizing the importance of peace and stability in the region.

During the meeting, the participants appreciated the efforts of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Asim Munir in promoting regional peace and reducing tensions. They stated that PML-N has always advocated politics centered on peace, development, and stability, a vision that is increasingly gaining recognition at the international level.

Nawaz Sharif urged party workers and office bearers to play an active role in promoting investment in Pakistan and encouraged them to motivate Saudi investors and business leaders to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan. He noted that such initiatives would further strengthen economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with participants reaffirming their commitment to the party leadership and their determination to contribute to Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
