JI calls upon PM to lead nation for shielding Palestine from Israel’s aggression

ISLAMABAD: jamaat Islami (JI) on Wednesday called upon prime minister, Imran Khan, to play a leading role to bring the nation at one forum and give a strong message to the world community that Pakistan was united and committed to shield Palestine from Israel’s aggression.
Ji Niab Ameer, Liaqat Baloch, gave the call to the prime minister while addressing a press conference here with other party leaders including Niab Ameer and former MNA Mian Muhammad Aslam, Assistant Secretary General, Fareed Ahmed Paracha, JI Islamabad Ameer, Engr Nasrullah Randhawa and Pakistan Business Forum president, Kashif Chaudhary. JI leaders announced schedule of a rally to be held in Islamabad to stage protest against Israel’s aggression against Palestine on May 21, 2021.
JI chief, Sirajul Haq will lead the rally and the people from Rawalpindi Chakwal, Jehlum Sargodha and Gujrat divisions Will participate. The senior leadership of the party will address the rally at D Chowk Islamabad.
Engr Nasrullah Randhawa urged upon the people to participate in the Islamabad rally on May 21 to say No to Israel’s aggression on innocent Palestinian. He said Israel was killing women and children in air strikes and it was a moral duty of every Pakistani to protest this Israel’s crime against humanity. Randhawa pleaded that Pakistani women and children should also participate in the rally to express solidarity with their Palestinian brothern.
Liaqat Baloch said Israel has committed sheer crime by assaulting innocent Palestinian in Gaza and it was high time for Muslim world to forge unity among its ranks and formulate a lasting policy to protect Palestinian from Israel’s aggression. He said prime minister, Imran Khan, should review his policy of the last three years rule of shedding away political forces and take lead to forge unity among the nation to raise unanimous voice against Israel at United Nations and other fora. He lauded the valour and unprecedented courage of the Palestinian who were up in the arms against Israel and sacrificing their lives to protect Musjid e Aqsa from Israeli occupation.
Fareed Ahmed Paracha said Pakistan is a nuclear force and the entire Muslim world seeks its role in crisis like Gaza and the government should take a courageous role to bring Israel’s aggression against Palestinian to and end without any further delay.
