JI chief says PTI government compromising on national interests

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat Islami (JI) chief senator, Sirajul haq , on Friday said Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government was following a policy of compromising on key national interests like putting Kashmir issue on the back burner.

JI chief said India is changing population proportion to twist Kashmir issue in Delhi’s favour, but prime minister, Imran Khan, has not formulated any policy to safeguard Pakistan’s interests in this case.

“India can change population ratio in its favour in occupied Kashmir if Pakistan continued to ignore its current policy of shifting non Kashmiris to Kashmir for another one decade”, JI chief warned.

Senator Sirajul Haq was talking to media in Faisalabad during his 3- day visit to the city. JI former MNA, Mian Aslam, and other party leaders were present on the occasion.

JI chief said PTI government like PPP and PMLN is an agent of the International Monetory Fund (IMF) and for the same entire Pakistan was paying the price of its wrong economic policies.

Sirajul Haq lamented the government decision of imposing tax on withdrawal of funds from banks. He said prime minister , Imran Khan, has failed to form Riasat e Madina, which presented a model for welfare of the people.

“How can you form Riasat e Madina by promoting the culture of interest (Riba) in the country”, Sirajul Haq asked the prime minister.

Sirajul Haq asserted that the people should vote for JI in next general elections to help it get into power and resolve serious issues confronted with Pakistan including unemployment, price- hike, lawlessness.

He reminded of the Establishment that it should fight against the enemy and leave the issues like forming the government or dismental it to the people of Pakistan.

JI chief is in 3-day visit to Faisalbad. He will hold meetings with traders, workers, lawyers and representatives of their segments of the society.
