Leaked audios saga continues: this time former CJP Saqib Nisar , PTI counsel add dirt to raging storm

ISLAMABAD : April 25,2023: Saga of leaked audios and videos continues to make the political scenario murkier besides adding more characters to the raging constitutional crisis .

This time former chief justice of Pakistan better known as “Babay Rehmatay” and Khawaja Tariq Rahim , one of the counsels of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) in suo moto case appears in a leaked audio clip.

In the leaked audio , former chief justice of Pakistan, Saqib Nisar , “Babay Rehmatay” can be heard advising to Khawaja Tariq Rahim to move a contempt case in suo moto case.

In the leaked audio, former chief justice of Pakistan , Saqib Nisar, gives advice to Khawaja Tariq Rahim and recommends him to read some past cases wherein contempt of court was moved in a follow up of a suo moto case .

Khawaja Tariq Rahim confirms to the alleged recommendations of “Babay Rehmatay” that he would look into the cases and move a contempt case against Shahbaz government for not implementing the decision of the apex court in the suo moto case .

Featuring of Saqib Nisar former CJP in suo moto case as an advisor and suggesting PTI counsel is making the role of SCP more controversial. It is bringing more disrespect to top judiciary of Pakistan and making it more controversial .

Just a day earlier , a leaked audio featuring mother in law of CJP , Umar Atta Bandial and spouse of Khawaja Tariq Rahim had exposed how families of top judges were directly influencing the proceedings of the apex court.

A 7-member bench of SCP led by CJP , Umar Atta Bandial is scheduled to take up the most controversial case on April 27, but Information minister , Maryam Aurangzeb , has declared that the government will not allow a group of judges and their families including mother in laws and kids of some judges to play with the constitution and give decision to appease PTI chairman , Imran Khan.

She also made it clear that any decision given by Bandial led controversial bench will be resisted .
