(Asghar Ali Mubarak) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Lt. Gen. Muhammad Ali as Defense Secretary.
The Establishment Division has issued a notification for the appointment of Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali as Defense Secretary.
The notification states that the new Defense Secretary has been appointed for a period of 2 years and 3 months, with effect from October 1, 2024.
The notification states that Lt. Gen. Muhammad Ali will be appointed as Defense Secretary till December 31, 2026.
