Mardan board announces results of annual examination

Peshawar – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan has officially announced the results of the 2025 Annual Examinations for Classes 9th and 10th.According to official documents, a total of 159,566 students appeared in the matriculation (Class 10) exams.The overall pass percentage for matric exams stood at 75.27%.

Meanwhile, in the Class 9th examinations, a total of 82,666 students appeared. Out of these, 82,002 students were promoted, while 664 students failed in one or more subjects, resulting in an overall promotion rate of 99.02%. However, as per the board’s policy, even the failed students of Class 9th have been promoted to the next grade.

In the Matric Science Group, Muhammad Athar Khan, a student of The Quaid-e-Azam Public Montessori School, secured first position with 1177 marks.The second position was shared by three students:

Sidra Maham from The Quaid-e-Azam Girls Public School, Swabi with 1172 marks,

Roza Siraj from Ghazali School for Girls, Mardan with 1172 marks,

and Sania Falak, also from Ghazali School for Girls, Mardan, who obtained 1172 marks.

The third position was also shared by three students:

Aqsa Rehman from Ghazali School for Girls, Mardan,

Haqqan Ahmad from Iqra Model School, Chargali, Mardan,

and Uroosa Anwar from The Quaid-e-Azam Public School, Swabi all of whom scored 1170 marks.

Among the top position holders, Ghazali College for Girls, Mardan and the Quaid-e-Azam Group of Schools and Colleges emerged as leading institutions.

To honor the high achievers, Commissioner Mardan Division Muhammad Nisar and BISE Mardan Chairman Professor Jehanzaib distributed awards and shields among the position holders at a special ceremony.
