LAHORE : July 23, 2022. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and its ally , Jamiat Ulema Islam Fazal (JUI-F) on Saturday expressed disappointment over what they claimed ‘biased defination of article ,63 A’ and cautioned the top court that its one -sided approach in the case will be awakening the state of Pakistan.
JUI-F chief , Fazal Ur Rehman came hard on top court blaming it of weakening the state of Pakistan through its selective decisions . He cautioned top court that it should shun its selective approach aimed at benefiting a certain political party .
He questioned why SCP has two approaches in one case ?
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) vice president , Maryam Nawaz, raised serious questions on what she called ‘ biased decisions ” given in favour of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
The PMLN leader said it appears as of the court (without naming SCP) is finding new definition to its previous decision that benefited ‘Ladla’ (without naming Imran Khan). Maryam Nawaz in her tweet said ” If the court keeps on giving full advantage to one stakeholder then one should not expect some concession from us (PMLN).
Maryam Nawaz ‘s tweet came after observations of the bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) hearing the case filed by Pakistan Muslim League Quaid- e Azam (P.MLQ) and PTI against the ruling of deputy speaker , Dost Mohammad Mazari.
The short order issued by the bench headed by chief justice of Pakistan , Umar Atta Bandial , gave depressing message to PMLN leadership and Maryam Nawaz’s reaction to these observations clearly indicated level of desperation in PMLN leadership.
PMLN has gathered impression from these observations of the bench of SCP that it was perhaps showing some soft corner for PTI.
For the same reason, the counsel for PMLN submitted to the bench to form a full court bench to hear the case .
The PMLN also believes that the ruling of the deputy speaker ‘s ruling of July 22,2022 was in a accordance with the ruling of the apex court which resulted in disqualification of 25 members Punjab assembly of PTI who voted for Hamza Shahbaz in the election of chief minister held on April 10, 2022.
Late on Saturday, PMLN senior leader and federal minister came direct on SCP. He said why apex court was interfering into the authority of the parliament .
He said ‘ Do you want to run the country or want to have own separate mosque ‘.
Saad Rafique hurled a warning that if PMLN would be pushed out of power there will be no elections in the country.
