Islamabad : Interior minister , Mohsin Naqvi, on Thursday said Pakistan ‘s current system of governance has collapsed and it will keep dragging the country for another decade , but will not serve anything good. He suggested much-needed changes in the current system of governance to make it suitable for the best interest of the public , which , he claimed, has no benefit out of this what he termed as “Rotten system of governance”.
He exposed Pakistan’s current system of governance, which protects interest of the ruling elite rather than common citizens of Pakistan.
Those who are beneficiary of the current system of governance are resisting overhauling of the current system of governance. PPP and PMLN , which are major beneficiary of this rotten system of governance are resisting any major changes in it. Both parties , which are ruling this country for decades now, are outrightly opposing any addition of new provinces . They know any such move will ultimately dent their area of kingdom. Interior minister , Mohsin Naqvi ‘s Thursday’s speech at Pakistan Economic Summit 2026 may get sharp reaction from them. PTI , another beneficiary of the current system as its majority of leaders had switched over from PPP and PMLN, also resist major changes in the present so -called democratic system.
Interior minister , Mohsin Naqvi , has basically issued an open warning to both major ruling parties that their rules are likely to get over as the new system may not accept their style of governance.
These both ruling parties and PTI are happy with the current system of governance as they are free to do whatever they like , but its creating disappointment among young generation of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s young population feels that the ruling elite has made Pakistan hostage to plunder its resources and the rulers do not have any interest in their future.
Mr Naqvi was right in saying that young generation wants merit and nothing else. which is being denied it and its desperate for the future. He also rightly said that desperation can turned young Pakistanis into what he called as COCKROACH
. He was referring to India where cockroach party led by students has jolted Indian system in a few days’ protest.
Mr Mohsin gave clear message to those who are considering their laptop distribution as a big political game that young Pakistani can not be satisfied with laptops only. He also deplored that Pakistan is an agriculture country , but importing wheat for its people.
He said ” You can not drag on this rotten system any more as its not meeting the requirements of the people of Pakistan.”
The Interior minister urged to go to the people for deciding the issues of making new federating units. He called the new federating units are real solution to the problems confronted with Pakistan presently.
He slammed business community and said those who are investing millions to help its beneficiaries drag on this collapsed system are sitting here. He noted that those who have brought Pakistan to this bad shape economically are also sitting in this summit.
