RAWALPINDI : March @02023: In the Pakistan Super League match Multan Sultans defeated Quetta Gladiator by 9 runs.

Acting captain of Quetta Gladiator Muhammad Nawaz won the toss and decided to field first which proved to be wrong. The team of Multan Sultans scored 262 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Usman Khan scored a wonderful century, he scored 120 runs from 43 balls with the help of 12 fours and 9 sixes, Mohammad Rizwan scored 55 runs, Tim David scored 43 not out and Kieron Pollard scored 23 not out.

On behalf of Quetta Gladiator, Qais Ahmed got two wickets while Muhammad Nawaz got one wicket. In response, Quetta Gladiator team scored 253 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. could score and lost the match by 9 runs. Umir Yusuf scored 67 runs, Iftikhar Ahmed 53 runs, Martin Guptill scored 37 runs and Umar Akmal scored 28 runs while Qais Ahmed and Naveen Haq scored 17 and 17 runs not out. For Multan Sultans,Abbas Afridi took 5 wickets for 47 runs, including his hat-trick, Ehsan ullah got two wickets while Anwar Ali got one wicket. Abbas Afridi was declared man of the match.
